Recovery Is Training Too

Muscles are not built in the gym. They are built in the hours after — while you sleep, eat, and rest. Training is the stimulus; recovery is where the adaptation happens.

The three pillars are unglamorous: seven to nine hours of sleep, enough total calories and protein to support repair, and genuine rest days. Miss any one of them consistently and progress stalls, no matter how hard the sessions are.

Watch for the signals: strength plateauing, soreness that never clears, motivation dipping for no clear reason. Those are not signs to push harder — they are your body asking for a deload week.

Train hard, recover harder. That is the deal.
